Balasamskara Kendra at Badarikashrama is a parent-run program and about a dozen parents participate regularly with their kids from ages of three to twelve. Swami Ji or Vishnu Ji teach mantras to kids from 11:00 to 11:30, followed by parent-run classes from 11:30 to 12.30PM. Parents take turn holding classes that tell children cultural stories with good moral implications. Students also get Hindi lessons for about a half hour in every session. On alternate weeks, new concepts are introduced. These concepts are reinforced the rest of the time. Classes are interactive, and students enjoy learning and playing together.
